The “Speak Egyptian” initiative targets Egyptian children abroad teaching them the Arabic language and Egypt's dialect, history, values, customs and traditions. It is run in partnership with the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood. It involves web-based educational programs that rely heavily on images and graphics to explain Egypt’s history, geography and culture. The programs will be available for download free of charge from the website. The biggest challenge is to convince parents to get their children to take advantage of it. Pray that the new system of learning enforced in Egypt will not isolate the children. Pray that the children will become skilful and also have the ability to know their Creator God (The Bible, Acts 7:22).

Despite increasing persecution, the number of evangelical Christians in Uzbekistan continues to grow. Because Uzbek Believers can reach their neighbors with the gospel better than foreign missionaries, a valuable ministry is that of discipling and equipping local Christians for the work of evangelism and church planting. Mission Eurasia runs a School Without Walls (SWW) to do just that. Pray for the students involved in the school. Ask God to strengthen and deepen their love for Jesus and intimacy with the Father as they study the Word, and boldly share their faith with others (The Bible, Luke 10:27).
